lyrics
Careening out of orbit
Hurtling through space
The crew‘s been overtaken
I can see it in their face
But I‘m ready...yes I‘m ready
We‘ve taken on this mission
Observe the human race
But it‘s an awful position
Here at the end of their days
But I‘m ready...yes I‘m ready
Don‘t you hope for pride or glory
But a new day just before the dawn
For even in death you‘ll find my friend
That the flame of life still burns on
And it does...
[solo]
As we traverse the neon city
Walk along the razor‘s edge
Trying to find a single reason
Why we shouldn‘t all be dead
But I‘m ready...yes I‘m ready
Don‘t you hope for pride or glory
But a new day just beyond the dawn
For even in death you‘ll find my friend
That the flame of life still burns on
TWC keeps getting better and better and better... Electrified might be my favorite Haunt track to date. Production is getting more impressive by the day. If there is a face of DIY metal, this could very well be it. zfdavoodi
Yet another album I’m addicted to. This is definitely one of my favorite NWOTHM releases. It reminds me of being a teenager and discovering Iron Maiden. Love the sci-fi themes. Sludge Mouf
Every time I listen to this album I think I have a different favorite track. Masterpiece of an album. This was my introduction to Haunt so it holds a special place. Brilliant song writing here. G-ram74
